Eu sou um homem ambicioso com fortes convicções de que, tal como Dostoyevsky disse, “a beleza vai salvar o mundo”. Beleza é contemplação, é um passo à caminho da verdade, é a percepção do divino – traz à tona o melhor que há no homem. Dado isso, estou numa jornada pela estética tal como foi apresentada por Comte e pelos gregos antigos; uma missão pelo bom, belo e verdadeiro.
Talvez, como artista, eu esteja desconectado de meus pares visto que não tenho nenhum interesse na arte moderna tal como ela é atualmente – um bando de quadrados, telas tortas ou quadros de ponta cabeça, com explicações ridículas e gigantes nas plaquetas mais próximas, tentando convencer o observador de que aquilo é arte. Desculpe, não é. Acredito fielmente que meu trabalho deva falar por si só tal qual qualquer peça de arte: com as próprias pernas.
Meu maior objetivo é conseguir mover as pessoas com minha arte, seja literário, gráfico ou uma combinação de mídias e métodos. Eu quero deixar algo de bom para o mundo, mesmo muito depois da vida me ter acabado.
Quero também ajudar outros artistas na busca da estética – veja, não deveria haver qualquer limite à arte que traz à tona o melhor em cada um de nós. Se um dia eu conseguir auxiliar num sonho de outro artista, terei então muito atingido.
Creio que bem poderiam dizer que talvez eu seja um sonhador cabeça-dura. Eu já diria que isso é certeza.

I’m an ambitious man, with strong convictions that, as once stated by Dostoyevsky, “beauty will save the world”. Beauty is contemplation, is a step towards the truth, is the perception of the divine – it brings out the best in men. Given that, I’m in a quest for the aesthetics as presented by Comte and the Ancient Greeks; a quest for beauty, truth and good.
Maybe as an artist I’m disconnected to my peers as I have absolutely no interest in modern art as it is – a bunch of squares or tilted canvases or even upside down pictures, with a ridiculous amount of tag text before anyone can be convinced that *that* is art. Sorry, it isn’t. I believe that my work should speak for itself and any piece of art should be able to stand on its own.
My main goal is to move people with my art, be it literary or graphic – or a combination of medias and methods. I want to leave something good for the world long after I’m dead and gone.
I also want to help other artists in the pursuit of aesthetics – you see, there shouldn’t be a limit to any kind of art that brings the best in each and every one of us. If I might ever be so lucky as to help enable the dream of another artist, then I have achieved a lot.
I guess one could say I’m a stubborn dreamer. I would say that is a certainty.
